Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum
Formely known as the King George VI Art Gallery. This gallery was opened on 22 June 1956 and renamed in 2002.
The museum consists of two idendical looking buildings flanking the entrance to St George's Park.
The collections consist of South African Art (particularly that of the Eastern Cape), British Art, International Printmaking and Oriental Art

EPSAC Community Centre
The Eastern Province Society of Arts & Crafts was founded in 1918. It is currently situated at 36 - 38 Bird Street, Central.
Apart from the wonderful exhibitions, the community centre offers art workshops and in conjuction with Art in the Park they also offer various other workshops from time to time. Further information can be obtained from Colleen at EPSAC

Cuyler Street Gallery
This privately owned gallery is housed in a quaint prefabricated building which was imported from England in the 1890's.
The soft mixture of natural daylight and electric lighting creates the intimate atmosphere unique to this small gallery. The beautiful wooden floors and smell of artist materials just add to the ambiance of the place.
Ron Belling Art Gallery
The gallery is a crisp white converted Art Deco house at 30 Park Drive in Central. The gallery not only houses the Ron Belling Aviation Collection but also some of his marine works and those from the junkers Aircraft Series.
